Seminar "Application of new technologies in the sinter and blast furnace production"

For the first time in Ukraine a laser atomic emission conveyor on-line analyzer MAYA 6060 produced by Laser Detect Systems for mineral materials analysis was presented. The urgency of the task of analysis of chemical composition of raw ore materials in real time mode in the sintering and blast furnace production was discussed. The basic physical principles of its work, the design, the possibility of use, the procedure and ease of maintenance, safety for health and environment were described. The examples of application and evaluation of the cost-effectiveness, relevance, integration with process control systems in the blast furnace and sinter production were given.

The conference recommendations to the enterprises and design organizations for the implementation of the systems of on-line analysis of raw materials in the production of sinter and blast furnace were adopted as a result of comprehensive discussion of the capabilities of the device, problems, concerns and needs of blast furnace and sinter manufacturing by technologists of the enterprises, managers of workshops and experts of design organizations.
